Today I was thinking about the holiday season....about being grateful for all I have and how to make this season a meaningful one for my family. I have always had a spirit of service but not always known where to direct it. I have volunteered in numerous capacities over the years and been fulfilled by loving and serving others less fortunate than myself. Today I challenged my sister, step daughters, and niece to think of ways we can uplift and serve others this holiday season. I will keep a record of our inspiration and progress here!

Today our family went to visit Grace House, a retirement community near our home. We dropped off a few warm cozy blankets for cold movie nights! We visited for awhile and truly enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteLast week Sofia, Aunt Kimmy Jo, and I "adopted" Anna Belle from the Salvation Army giving tree. We hope that we can provide a few clothing items and a special doll to make her holiday brighter.
